Seeking to create a true community, the development and design teams took the concept of a high-rise building and turned it on its side. The result is an extension that moves outward from its central Great Lawn and offers ample spaces to run, play and experience nature in all directions.
The residences at Finca Conejo Blanco are surrounded by beautiful and lush landscapes and open spaces reminiscent of those adorning some of the world's most iconic homes. "The natural tropical landscape is one of the hallmarks of living in Colombia," says Lead Landscape Architect Diego Vita. "Within the context of this wonderful terraced building, we made sure there were many opportunities for indoor/outdoor spaces. Some of them are large and impressive and others are small and intimate, but in any case, there is an ease about it: an effortless transition."
From its impressive entrance to its private garden promenade with namesake garden, Finca Conejo Blanco envelops its owners in the feeling of being sheltered in a grand estate. "We use a combination of natural and local materials with a contemporary touch that makes it feel current, but still linked to the past," says Designer David Oldroyd.
"We wanted to create a space designed to erase the noise of where you've been and transport you to your home," says Oldroyd. "There's a simple and casual quality about the entrance. Step out of your car. Walk along a stone path. And what unfolds before you is an open-air lobby space."
Our jacuzzi is more than just a relaxation space: it's a spacious outdoor lounge designed for multiple experiences. Enjoy a glass of wine or whiskey while contemplating the majestic Peñol Rock. It is heated to 36–40 °C with bubble jets and underwater LED lights, so it works just as well at night. Hot water runs 24/7 from a 3,000-litre tank.
